Continuing Education Information

In order to receive CEUs, complete the CE Declaration Submission above by Nov. 3rd for live (only visible when signed in).  Certificates will be emailed by mid-November.

The session evaluations are for you to give us feedback so we can improve.

MAGI@home offers a variety of continuing education to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, attorneys, advanced practitioners, and compliance professionals. More information will be supplied closer to the time of the event, but in general:·      

  • The processing of your CE hours earned by attending MAGI@home is included in your registration fee for our event.
  • You will need to fill out the CE Declaration survey at the end of the event. When applicable, WCG will submit your information to the appropriate accreditation body and provide you with a certificate for your CE requirements.
  • CE is available for the live event and for self-study for those who wish to claim hours by viewing the recordings from MAGI@home on demand·      
  • WCG retains the history of contact hours earned through our educational programs.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Following this activity, learners will report that they are better prepared to conduct clinical research according to current best practices in the following areas: recruiting patients for clinical studies, complying with regulatory requirements, maintaining high quality, and minimizing and managing risk effectively. In a post-activity evaluation, learners will share their intentions to apply the knowledge gathered during the conference to their work setting and specific job function as it pertains to clinical trial management.


CONTINUING EDUCATION OVERVIEW
WCG seeks to provide continuing education credits to satisfy the requirements for physicians, researchers, attorneys, nurses, research assistants, healthcare leaders, and executives. Over the next few months, we will update this page to include approval information from the various organizations. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION 
WCG has obtained approval from the following organizations:

AAPC - American Academy of Professional Coders
MAGI@home sponsored by WCG Clinical has been approved for 46.00 CEU(s) by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

CLE/MCLE (PA) - Continuing Legal Education (Pennsylvania). 
If you are licensed in Pennsylvania, WCG MAGI must enter your hours on the PA State Bar site, so inform us if you want us to do that through the event CE survey. For the ABA guide to state MCLE requirements, click here. New York, New Jersey, and other states (that we have not confirmed) accept PA CLE contact hours. Check with your state association for acceptance of PA CLE contact hours. (WCG MAGI's certificate of attendance may be sufficient.)

CME - AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ 
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and Model Agreements & Guidelines International (MAGI). Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine designates this Other Activity (live and recorded sessions) for a maximum of 46 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

CNE - Continuing Nursing Education. 
Earn up to 46 contact hours. The California Board of Registered Nursing (CBRN) has accredited WCG MAGI to provide continuing nursing education, provider # CEP16387. Certification of contact hours confers recognition of continuing nursing education only and does not imply CBRN endorsement of any commercial product.

CCB® - Compliance Certification Board 
The Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® has approved this event for up to 24.0 Live and 60.0 Non-Live CCB CEUs each respectively based on a 50-minute hour, each. Continuing Education Units are awarded based on individual attendance records. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes endorsement by CCB of this event content or of the event sponsor.

CIP - Certified IRB Professional 
Conference participants who hold the CIP® credential who wish to apply the 13.00 credits from this program towards their CIP recertification credit hours. Credential holders should retain their certificate of attendance, including a list of eligible sessions attended, and include it as part of their CIP recertification by continuing education applications. Learn more.

ACRP and SOCRA CEUs
Learners who wish to apply for credits to use for recertification with ACRP or SOCRA should request a general evaluation through the MAGI CE Declaration Form to submit with a list of sessions attended for consideration with each organization.
