Kirti Salunkhe, MD has been with WCG-IRB for nearly 8 years. Prior to joining the Puyallap campus she had been Senior Medical Director at various medical marketing and communications agencies with WPP, Interpublic Group and Publicis, global leaders in marketing and advertising, at their San Francisco and New York City offices. In that capacity she directly interacted with thought leaders in the fields of Cardiology, Women’s Health and Nutrition to develop academic programs, digital initiatives and other enduring materials for peer to peer education, publications and promotional strategies for numerous pharmaceutical and biotech companies. More recently, Kirti was Head of Medical Affairs for Metagenics and oversaw the Metagenics Institute as well as serving as Clinical Safety Officer for the company. She received her MD in Ob/Gyn from BJ Medical College, Pune, India and was research physician at Intermountain Healthcare in the division of Interventional Cardiology in Salt Lake City, Utah where she was actively involved with industry sponsored and investigator initiated clinical research, founding a pilot program to increase awareness of heart health in women and special populations in the Intermountain region. Kirti has published in numerous peer reviewed journals and presented original research at national and international conferences.
