Tara Coffin earned her PhD in Public Health Genetics and Masters in Education from University of Washington. She lives on a 41 foot sail boat with her partner, their two children, and their dog, in the Puget Sound. Prior to completing her graduate work, she worked as a tall ship sailor with her partner. She joined WCG in 2019 as a Regulatory Chair, and occasionally teaches as an adjunct professor, along with doing consultant work in the arena of health equity. Hobbies include running, spending time outside, cooking, the occasional true crime flick, and playing the ukulele poorly.
