Brittani Nelson joined WCG in October 2013. Her current role is a Senior Expedited Reviewer. She enjoys mentoring Expedited trainees and assisting the IRB Affairs Team with continuous improvement projects. Brittani is the Co-Chair and founding member of the ERG, Black Women of WCG and has an active voice in the diversity, equity, and inclusion discussion in the clinical research industry.

In her previous roles with WCG IRB, Brittani served as a Business Operations Analyst and Quality Assurance Specialist. As a Business Operations Analyst, she continuously demonstrated exceptional support for the board and clients in finalizing consent forms for the post board department. Brittani discovered her passion for compliance and regulatory as a Quality Assurance Specialist. She was responsible with analyzing and providing Part 11 compliance support for all WCG computer validated systems.

Brittani holds a Masters of Arts in International Relations from St. Mary’s University and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Northwood University. She is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Outside of her WCG life, Brittani is a mom to 2 amazing daughters and loves to travel any chance she can get.
