Niraj Mehta, Ph.D. is the Executive Director/Global Quality Lead for Strategic Programs and Regulatory Intelligence team within Merck’s Manufacturing Division (MMD). Mr. Mehta is responsible for the management of external policy, and execution of processes and programs to ensure MMD’s Quality Compliance excellence including enabling a Quality Management Maturity program within MMD.

Prior to joining Merck, Mr. Mehta spent over 10 years at the U.S. FDA in various roles within CDER and the Commissioner’s Office where he facilitated the adoption and implementation of the US-EU MRA. He has a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
