Greg Williams has over thirty (30) years of quality and regulatory compliance experience in the pharmaceutical, biologic, and medical device industries. He has served in varying levels of responsibility in his career from quality control inspector to Global Vice President.
He has recently started his own consulting company (Compliance through Simplicity LLC) specializing in compliance remediation, quality audits, and process improvements. Greg brings a unique background and international experience which enables him to effectively work on issues at site, regional, and global levels.
Prior to starting his own company, Greg was the Executive Director of Global Quality Systems, Compliance, Audit, and Training for Innovent Biologics. In this role, Greg was responsible for establishing global quality system requirements for the China-based company.
Prior to Innovent, Greg was the Head, GMP Quality Audits for Novartis overseeing the global processes for more than 2,000 audits per year. Before Novartis, Greg was the Vice President, Global Quality Operations – Surgical for Alcon Laboratories leading the quality operations for twelve (12) global manufacturing locations.
In addition to these roles, he previously worked for J&J, Mentor, and Smith+Nephew Orthopedics.
Greg has a BS in Mathematics, BS in Statistics, and MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is the President of the PDA Texas Chapter, President of the Fort Worth Youth Soccer Association, member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee’s College of Arts and Sciences, Leadership Chair for the DFW Chapter of the University of Tennessee’s Alumni Board and is active in several other volunteer organizations.
