Istvan Is currently a Director within Huron's Research Office. Research Office services include research contract negotiations, clinical trial budget negotiations, pre-award proposal preparation, post-award financial management services Including Invoicing, Medicare coverage analysis, and CTMS financial console and calendar builds.  

Professional Experience

Istvan brings over 10 years of progressive research administration experience. Prior to joining Huron, Istvan worked at The University of Chicago for six+ years on all types of research related agreements in the position of Assistant Director Contracts Management. Istvan is familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations and the Federal Demonstration Partnership subcontract/DTUA templates. Istvan has developed numerous systems and processes to increase contract processing efficiency and decreasing contract turnaround times. He also served on the University of Chicago's Secure Research Computing Oversite Committee.

Since joining Huron Istvan has worked with 20+ clients to provide support in contract negotiations, budget negotiations, post-award services, financial console builds, and CTMS calendar builds. This has provided him a great understanding of the research lifecycle and industry best practices
