Description
Everyone who works in clinical research is used to the unexpected, but sometimes we encounter events that are really unexpected - like pandemics, natural disasters, and wars.
In this session, clinical research experts will discuss how to prepare research plans for possible disruption. The discussion will include writing protocols to preserve operational flexibility, necessary considerations for business continuity planning, and the ethical issues inherent in providing additional, unanticipated support to research staff and research participants.
