Tara is the Associate Director, Clinical Research Billing Compliance at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been in healthcare compliance for almost a decade, with her primary focus being clinical research billing compliance. Tara is well versed in performing tasks including research and clinical trial coverage analysis, development and implementation of policies and procedures as well as project management. She has in depth knowledge surrounding compliance with Medicare’s national coverage determination and their allowances for billing during clinical trials and has obtained the CHRC.

Prior to Tara's work in healthcare compliance, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and served in a variety of clinical capacities at several different pediatric hospitals across the United States.
