Sandy Orzel joined Neighborhood Healthcare in 2017 and serves as the Sr. Director of Operations and Program Management. A few of her accomplishments at Neighborhood Healthcare include overseeing the launch of the Clinical Trials division, serving as the Organization’s COVID Incident Commander and expanding Specialty Services (Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Podiatry) throughout the organization. In addition to the programs mentioned above, she also oversees Dental Services, Women’s Health, Innovation and Laboratory Services.
Prior to joining Neighborhood Healthcare, Ms. Orzel held several executive leadership positions in the Pathology Laboratory field including Chief Operating Officer for Path Logic and Vice President of Operations and Business Development for AD PathLabs (which she was one of the founders). She has also served as an Executive Consultant with expertise in Organizational Design, Human Resources, Laboratory Design and Start-up as well as Laboratory Quality, Compliance and Licensing.
Ms. Orzel earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. She has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and several FEMA Incident Command certifications. Sandy is passionate about Leadership Development (especially mentoring and developing new leaders), Operational Growth and Organizational Design. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, reading and doing volunteer work.
