Growing up in a rural community I have seen how access to specialty medicine can impact the health of those who live far away from larger medical facilities.  This has helped foster my educational journey and interests in change management, resilience, and quality of life outcomes. Through my work I continue to look for new ways to bring medical advances to our small communities that will limit individuals’ healthcare burden.  Increased research awareness has brought improved retention rates to our trials and prescreening efforts have decreased our screen fail rates. I continue to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address decentralized trial complexities within the region.
