Gary Shorter is the senior director of emerging technology and AI at IQVIA Tech where he pursues the use of emerging technology to provide new and more efficient capabilities for clinical trial operations. Gary and his team at IQVIA have developed artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) software capabilities including Auto-eTMF and Auto-Translation built and validated to the rigor of regulatory agency expectations. He holds a MSc and has more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience including 10 years of experience as a biostatistician and now as a leader in technology and innovation.
