William (Bill) Mestrandrea, Senior Director, Global GMP/GDP Audit. Bill was appointed to lead the BMS Global GMP/GDP Audit Team in November 2021, which is responsible for conducting GMP/GDP audits of commercial and clinical product sites both internal and external to BMS. He is also charged with leading BMS’ GMP/GDP Inspection Readiness program. Prior to his current role, he was the Regulatory Compliance Team Leader at BMS, supporting GxP Regulatory Compliance Activities across the product lifecycle. Prior to joining BMS in 2018, Bill worked at Pfizer for 15 years where is held positions of increased responsibility within the Corporate Quality and GMP Audit organizations. Bill was also an FDA Investigator at the FDA New Jersey District office from 1994-1999. In total, Bill has approximately 29 years of pharmaceutical quality and compliance experience. Bill received his BS in Psychology from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College in 1992 and his MBA from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2019.
