Clinical study startup is a relatively new functional area, which a decade ago had limited to no metric definitions. This session will introduce the history and current state of the clinical study startup metrics. The core of the session will be the following working sessions

• Example metrics for site activation & for patient enrollment.
• What works well with existing metrics? What are the challenges of existing metrics?
• How can we use metrics to help improve the Site start-up process?
