Daniel Perez (he/him) is the chief executive officer of MACRO Trials, a next-generation data-enabled platform for conducting pharma-sponsored clinical trials. After spending over a decade in academic medical centers serving in progressive roles in healthcare administration, clinical research operations, and strategic business development, Perez joined MACRO and established the framework for effective operating, regulatory, policy and culture infrastructure. With a vision to build, scale and lead MACRO towards democratizing clinical trials, Perez is committed to transforming inclusivity in the clinical research industry by enabling diverse populations’ direct access to trials. In addition to his work with MACRO, Perez is a founding board member for Clinical Trials in Color, a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation with a mission to improve health outcomes in communities of color by increasing diversity and access to clinical trials, and the founder for the Coalition for Advancing Research Equity (CARE).
