For over 27 years as a clinical and quality professional, Roberta hosted and managed multiple types of Health Authority Inspections across different geographies. Developed robust processes to manage sponsor and CRO inspections involving vendors and directly prepared cross functional leaders in R&D. Currently based in the USA as Executive Director at PPD, Part of ThermoFisher, leading a global group in charge of hosting client audits and HA inspections at PPD. In her previous years, Roberta led regional GCP auditing teams (Americas and Asia) at Bristol Myers Squibb covering a risk-based QA auditing program across several Therapeutic Areas. Other roles when in Brazil included Regulatory Department head, Clinical Operations manager, QA Auditor and CRA at Quintiles (IQVIA). Has a Bachelor’s degree as a Nurse, post-graduated in Quality Management by FGV/SP and specialized in Logistics and Product Innovation at Mackenzie/SP. Roberta Ferreira has a strong passion for diversity, Health Authority (HA) Inspections and for developing people. Roberta believes inspection excellence can be achieved with great planning, and continued sharing of inspection intelligence within the industry.
