Kate is the Director of the Office of Compliance Review (ORCR) at the University of Michigan (U-M). ORCR is the quality assurance and quality improvement unit for U-M’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP). As Director, Kate is responsible for the day to day activities of ORCR, including the conduct of compliance audits of research, with a focus on research involving human participants, and the monitoring of compliance with ClinicalTrials.gov requirements. Kate also coordinates efforts related to quality improvement and quality assurance activities for the HRPP. Kate received her J.D. from Michigan State University and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
