Sierra Clark, JD is an Industry Contract Manager, Industry Contracts Division at the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF). In her role at UCSF, Sierra serves as an advisor in the negotiation of complex, high-volume contracts as well as serving on cross-functional leadership teams to initiate comprehensive reviews of risk tolerance and of best practices in contracting and sponsored research administration. At UCSF, Sierra is a subject matter expert (SME) for drafting and negotiation of clinical trial agreements with clinical research organizations as well as data sharing and data use on behalf of the University. Sierra has over 10 years of clinical research contracting and management experience in the academic setting. Before her current position, Sierra was the Assistant Director for Research Contracting, Office for Sponsored Research at Northwestern University. She has experience in a broad array of contracting work with partners and sponsors ranging from universities and government agencies to health systems, from major pharmaceutical and engineering firms to foundations. Her current and past portfolio of work includes CTAs, SRAs, Master Agreements, Government Contracts, Collaboration Agreements, Indemnity Agreements, MTAs, DUAs, and CDAs, among others.
