DeAnn Cary, PhD, is Director of Research and the Outcomes Research Institute at Sharp HealthCare. With 24 years of experience in clinical trials, DeAnn oversees the effort to use collaborative research to evaluate the long-term results of care, promote clinical excellence, and advance innovation and best practices in health care delivery. 

DeAnn received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.

She is also involved in numerous committees, and currently is on the Board of Directors of the Campanile Foundation at San Diego State University and co-chairs the TCF Arts Alive Committee.
