A rapidly growing number of new drugs and vaccines contain genetically modified DNA or RNA, with many new products entering Phase 3 clinical trials and some receiving FDA marketing approval.

This breakout session will provide an overview of the technology behind viral vectors, CAR-T cells, mRNA vaccines, and related advanced therapies. A brief discussion of special regulatory considerations for this research will be included.
