Lyra is Head of the Research and Developments Contracts (RDC) Organization at Genentech Roche and sits on the Contracts, Negotiations and Compliance Leadership Team. She leads a team of contracting experts who manage the development and negotiations for complex Academic and Industry Collaborations and CRADAs, HCP Consulting and Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs) as well US clinical site contracts and budgets for both insourced and outsourced studies for Genentech Roche. She oversees the Fair Market Value Governance Committee which provides guidance for the Fair Market Value (FMV) process for clinical trials globally.
Lyra has worked in the Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry for 30 years both in Vaccine Development as well as in Global Supply Chain, holding numerous positions in Scientific Development, Innovation, Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing and Contract Negotiations.
Lyra holds a B.A. in Biology & Chemistry from Holy Names University, a MBA from NYIT, Certifications in Project Management and Procurement from San Jose State University and in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University. She has achieved lifetime accreditation as both a Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) and Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) through the Institute of Supply Management (ISM). She is Past President of the Drug Chemical & Associated Technologies (DCAT) Organization.
